Beach Haven Obituary

Aug 14, 2019

To the Editor:

“The Queen City” had been ill and dying for some time, but the approval of the Morrison’s hotel project on Second Street finally killed her off.

Warnings from doctors that the town was desperately ill and becoming Seaside Heights South were ignored. She had a good run, but when the interests of businesses became more important than those of the residents, the old girl went downhill fast. The people and governing body of Beach Haven had their chance but were hoodwinked by the spin doctors – a shame.
