Beach Haven — If you’re running low on your beach reading supply, replenish it when the Beach Haven Public Library holds its book sale Thursday through Saturday, July 11 to 13. The library is located at Third Street and Beach Avenue.

Thursday sale hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Hardcover books are $2, while paperbacks, CDs and DVDs  cost $1. Large-size coffeetable volumes and art books are in the $5 range.

There will be numerous tables filled with hardcover collectible books to paperbacks. Fiction and nonfiction titles include cookbooks, reference, history, romance, classical literature, biographies, travel, gardening, crafts and more. There are also children’s books, games, puzzles, books on tape and videos.

“If it is a nice day, we’ll have some tables set up on the porch,” said library technician Anna Serbek. “That’s usually where we keep the children’s, gardening and cookbooks.”

She said the books come primarily from private donations.

“Some we put in circulation, and the rest are for sale,” said Serbek.
