Little Egg Harbor — Authors Margaret Buchholz and Scott Mazzella have updated Great Storms of the Jersey Shore, originally issued in 1993 by Down The Shore Publishing, to include Superstorm Sandy. The first edition was co-written by Buchholz with the late Larry Savadove.

This new edition also includes new photos and research with interviews of survivors of the 1962 March Storm and the Hurricane of 1944. On Nov. 16 at 2 p.m., Buchholz and Mazzella will discuss the book and the process of researching the new material during a slide show at the Giffordtown Schoolhouse Museum, 35 Leitz Boulevard and Wisteria Lane in Little Egg Harbor.

They will have books for sale and will autograph them on request.

The Giffordtown Schoolhouse Museum is the headquarters of the Tuckerton Historical Society and contains objects and texts illustrating the history of the region. There is no admission fee, but donations are welcome. Donations go toward the upkeep of the museum and the THS programs. —P.J.
