Theatreworks ‘Love Letters’ Staged on Feb. 8

In a prelude to Valentine’s Day, the Ocean County Library’s Toms River branch presents the Guild Theatreworks’ production of A.R. Gurney’s poignant, witty “Love Letters” in Mancini Hall, on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Jeri Georger and John Fraraccio will star in the Pulitzer Prize-nominated play that traces the 50-year love affair between two friends whose relationship is told through their letters to one another.

The Brick Township-based nonprofit troupe is in its 33rd year of performing dramas, comedies, musicals and improvisations for audiences of all ages.

Headquartered in Brick’s Robert Anstett Cultural Arts Center, the group maintains an active following through its website guildtheatreworks.com and its Facebook page.

To register for the performance, visit theoceancountylibrary.org/events or call the branch at 732-349-6200.  —E.E.
