Always There

To the Editor:

Who do you call when you are hundreds of miles away from your house and a smoke detector goes off at 2 o’clock in the morning? My alarm company called the fire department and I called the Harvey Cedars Police Department. Officer Nicholas D’Andrea was at my house within minutes.

I may be partial, but in my opinion we have the best police department on the Island – or anywhere! They are always there and always dependable.

I met Officer D’Andrea at one of Commissioner Imperiale’s Community Forums with the police department. He was impressive then and he lived up to what he said at the Community Forum: The HCPD is here to serve. Once again, thank you, Officer D’Andrea. I will always support our police department. They support us!
